 Washington-Liberty is on  an eight-game streak of home losses (dating back to last season), Herndon a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. The Washington-Liberty Generals will take on the Herndon Hornets at 6:30  p.m.  on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
 On Thursday, Washington-Liberty came up short against McLean  and fell  8-3.
  Celia Anbinder made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 1-for-3 with a  home run and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Kaitlyn Fado, who  went 1-for-3 with two  runs and a  triple.
 Meanwhile, Herndon also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Riverside by a score of  7-2.
 Washington-Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Herndon, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11.
 Washington-Liberty beat Herndon 18-13  in their previous meeting  back in April. Does  Washington-Liberty have another victory up their sleeve, or will Herndon turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
