Volleyball Recap: Holmen's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Holmen entered their tilt with Seymour on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Thunder. That's more bragging rights for the Vikings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Their offense was headlined by Moira Linse and Peyton Schnieder, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Claire Stevenson and her eight assists. Brenna Schmidt controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Holmen's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Seymour, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Holmen will take on D.C. Everest at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Seymour, they will face off against Notre Dame Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
