Football Recap: Baldwin Takes a Loss

Baldwin lost against Bethel Park back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Highlanders were dealt a 75-14 defeat at the hands of the Black Hawks. While losing is never fun, the Highlanders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 431st, while the Black Hawks are ranked 44th).

Baldwin's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Bethel Park, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Baldwin will head out to square off against Moon Area at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bethel Park, they will venture away from home to challenge Upper St. Clair at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers' defense has only allowed 10.7 points per game this season, so the Black Hawks' offense will have their work cut out for them.
