Softball Recap: West Field Comes Up Short

West Field and Salem Hills squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but West Field had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Skyhawks by a score of 1-0. Considering the last time the Longhorns couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

West Field saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brylee Leatherwood, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

West Field's loss dropped their record down to 22-8. As for Salem Hills, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 30-1.

As of now, neither West Field nor the Skyhawks have any future games scheduled.
