Football Game Preview: Chicopee vs. South Hadley

South Hadley will square off against Chicopee at 7:00 PM on Friday. South Hadley have the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.

South Hadley brought a four-game winning streak into their matchup against Taconic last Thursday; they left with a five-game streak. South Hadley got past Taconic with less than a touchdown to spare, ending up at 28-24.

Meanwhile, Chicopee have had to suffer through a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victor by a 29-0 margin over Commerce/Springfield Renaissance. That looming 29-point mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Chicopee yet.

Their wins bumped Chicopee to 1-6 and South Hadley to 5-2. We'll see which team can carry over their success and which team inevitably falls when Chicopee and South Hadley clash.
