Softball Recap: Marshall Comes Up Short

Marshall lost against Whitehouse back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mavericks lost 11-1 to the Wildcats. The Mavericks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Marshall saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Crutcher, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Whitehouse, their record now sits at 17-7.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Marshall will square off against rival Nacogdoches at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Whitehouse is set to face off against their familiar foe Jacksonville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
