Softball Recap: Midland Valley Mustangs vs. Easley Green Wave
While Midland Valley put up some runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Easley. The Midland Valley Mustangs came out on top against the Easley Green Wave by a score of 5-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for Midland Valley.
Midland Valley got a great performance from Karley Bedenbaugh as she didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Bedenbaugh has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances.
On the hitting side, Bailey Seabolt was incredible, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 4-for-4. Another player making a difference was Haley Thornsberry, who went 2-for-2 with an RBI.
