Baseball Recap: Frontier Comes Up Short

Frontier lost against Fort Frye back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Cougars took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cadets.

Frontier saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was True King, who went 1-for-4 with one run.

Frontier has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Fort Frye, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-7.

Looking ahead, Frontier will be playing in front of their home fans against Federal Hocking at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cougars are facing the Lancers at the right time seeing as the Lancers are stuck on a 14-game losing streak. Fort Frye has already played their next matchup (against Cambridge), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
