Brethren and Buckley are an even 4-4-1 against one another since August of 2015, but not for long. The Bobcats will be playing at home against the Bears at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Brethren has struggled recently with 11 defeats in a row, while Buckley will arrive with seven straight wins.

Meanwhile, Buckley hadn't done well against Frankfort recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Bears put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 3-0 victory. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Buckley's got stronger as the match went on, holding Frankfort to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-18, 25-16.

Brethren's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Buckley, their win bumped their record up to 16-5-1.

Brethren might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Buckley in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Bobcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
