Wayne had lost five games on the road, but after bumping their record up to 5-13 on Saturday that streak is in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Tintic Miners as they made off with an 8-1 win. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 21-5 win back in August.

The team relied heavily on Beylan Wood, who went 3-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Hunter Robins, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

As for Tintic, they dropped their record down to 5-8 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

On Tintic's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Camden Johnson, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Wayne wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 17-0 victory against Wendover on the 20th. As for Tintic, they have also already played their next contest, a 10-0 defeat against Bryce Valley on the 20th.
