Volleyball Recap: Mcgavock Finds Home Court Redemption Against Hillsboro + How To Watch

There's no place like home for McGavock, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Hillsboro Burros on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Raiders: when they faced off against the Burros on September 9th, they had to take a 3-0 loss.

McGavock had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-22, 25-20, 25-17.

Cailyn Ekberg paced McGavock's offense, picking up 18 kills. Ekberg got some help from Ali Haskins-Morgan and her 35 assists. Lacey Jordan controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

McGavock's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-14. As for Hillsboro, with the defeat, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 18-9.
