Baseball Recap: Stryker Panthers vs. Edon Bombers
Stryker came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 25-3 to the Edon Bombers. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 8-0 to the Bombers when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Stryker saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was William Donovan, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Chandler Lloyd was another, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Stryker's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Edon, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.
We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Stryker will challenge rival Gorham Fayette at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Edon is set to take on their familiar foe Holgate at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
