Baseball Recap: Cullman Comes Up Short

Cullman's last matchup with Hewitt-Trussville could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Tuesday. The Bearcats lost 11-1 to the Huskies. The Bearcats have struggled against the Huskies recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Tyler Brock made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run. Those stolen bases marked the first that he has snagged this season.

Cullman suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 4-2. As for Hewitt-Trussville, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cullman will welcome Spain Park at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Hewitt-Trussville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Gardendale at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
