Baseball Game Preview: Head-Royce Jayhawks vs. Terra Nova Tigers

The Head-Royce Jayhawks will venture away from home to square off against the Terra Nova Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Head-Royce comes in on five and Terra Nova on four.

On Thursday, Head-Royce made easy work of Redwood Christian and carried off a 10-4 victory. Considering the Jayhawks have won nine games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Terra Nova had just enough and edged out South San Francisco 4-3 on Thursday. That's two games straight that the Tigers have won by just one run.

Cooper Santamato looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Evan Wilson, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Joey Donati, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Head-Royce's record now sits at 11-5. As for Terra Nova, their record is now 13-8.
