Baseball Game Preview: Tempe Buffaloes vs. Browne Bruins

The Tempe Buffaloes will square off against the Browne Bruins at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Tempe and three for Browne.

Tempe lost 14-1 to Yuma on Wednesday.

Cesar Chavez hit Browne with a six-run seventh inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bruins fell 9-4 to the Champions. That's two games in a row now that the Bruins have lost by exactly five runs.

Axel Inzunza made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Browne's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Tempe, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-13.
