Soccer Game Preview: Healdsburg vs. Petaluma

The Healdsburg Greyhounds will head out to take on the Petaluma Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Healdsburg is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Maria Carrillo on Friday. Neither Healdsburg nor Maria Carrillo could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Petaluma has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They fell 2-0 to Acalanes on Saturday.

Healdsburg's draw gives them a new season record of 3-3-1. As for Petaluma, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4-1.

Healdsburg came up short against Petaluma in their previous meeting back in December of 2019, falling 2-0. Can Healdsburg avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
