Volleyball Recap: Gettysburg Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Faith, Gettysburg was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They won by a set and slipped past the Stanley County Buffalos 3-2.

Gettysburg wouldn't go down easily and took Stanley County into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-23, 22-25, 23-25, 15-10.

Gettysburg's win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Stanley County, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-12.

Gettysburg didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Sunshine Bible Academy on the 27th. As for Stanley County, they will challenge Crow Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
