Tualatin hasn't had much luck against Tigard recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Timberwolves are taking a road trip to face off against the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. Tualatin is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8 runs per game this season.

On Wednesday, Tualatin came up short against West Linn and fell 9-4. The Timberwolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Reese Strode put in work while hitting and pitching. She pitched 2.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run. That home run was her first of the season.

Meanwhile, Tigard didn't have quite enough to beat Oregon City on Wednesday and fell 2-1.

Tualatin's record now sits at 11-7. As for Tigard, their record is now 8-10.

Tualatin came out on top in a nail-biter against Tigard when the teams last played last Monday, sneaking past 9-8. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Timberwolves since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
