Last Thursday, everything came up roses for Impact Christian Academy against Riverside as the team secured a 75-15 win. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 58th, while the Generals are ranked 265th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Nease's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They lost to Flagler Palm Coast on the road by a 66-52 margin.

Impact Christian Academy's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-4. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.0 points per game. As for Nease, they now have a losing record at 8-9.

Impact Christian Academy and Nease were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, but Impact Christian Academy came up empty-handed after a 51-50 defeat. Can Impact Christian Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
