Volleyball Recap: Capital Prep Takes a Loss

Capital Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Academy of Science and Innovation Ravens. The Trailblazers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Ravens from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-13, 25-12.

Capital Prep's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Academy of Science and Innovation, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Capital Prep is set to square off against their familiar foe Rockville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Academy of Science and Innovation will face off against rival Wolcott RVT at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
