Recap: South Bend Washington Panthers vs. South Bend Adams Eagles
The South Bend Washington Panthers were the 78-40 winner over the South Bend Adams Eagles when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. South Bend Washington took a 53-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of South Bend Adams.
Several Panthers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Steven Reynolds 3, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 16 rebounds. Reynolds 3 has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Donovan Johnson, who scored 20 points along with three steals and two blocks.
South Bend Washington has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-4 record this season. As for South Bend Adams, their win bumped their record up to 5-7.
South Bend Washington will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Jimtown at 7:30 p.m. on January 18th. As for South Bend Adams, they will be playing at home against Marquette Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Marquette Catholic focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 last Thursday.
