Baseball Game Preview: Georgetown Bulldogs vs. Silver Bluff Bulldogs

Georgetown heads in on the heels of a playoff match on Thursday. They fell just short of Oceanside Collegiate Academy by a score of 4-3.

Meanwhile, Silver Bluff came into Thursday's game having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They never let Keenan get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Thursday.

Silver Bluff secured the victory behind a pair of hitters. One of them was Landry Barfield, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. Tanner Sullivan was another, earning one run and three stolen bases.

Silver Bluff's win bumped their record up to 5-19. As for Georgetown, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-15 record this season.
