Basketball Recap: Northwest Halifax's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Northwest Halifax extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Javon Kee. The Northwest Halifax Vikings came out on top against the Bunn Wildcats by a score of 65-55 on Friday thanks in part to Kee, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Another player making a difference was Jan Lynch, who posted seven points and five rebounds. Lynch is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

Bunn's loss came despite strong showings from Josiah Rice and CJ Kearney. Rice went 6 of 11 on his way to 16 points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals, while Kearney went 7 of 14 on his way to 17 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was DJ Smith, who had nine points and eight steals.

The win got Northwest Halifax back to even at 4-4. As for Bunn, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.

Northwest Halifax didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 63-41 victory against Howard on the 27th. As for Bunn, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 63-59 defeat against Vance County on the 27th.
