Basketball Game Preview: Battle Mountain Huskies vs. Glenwood Springs Demons

Battle Mountain is 2-8 against Glenwood Springs since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Battle Mountain Huskies will be playing at home against the Glenwood Springs Demons at 7:00 p.m.

Battle Mountain is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Thursday. They came up short against Eagle Valley, falling 68-43. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 251st, while the Devils are ranked 70th).

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Jackson Wansley, who went 5 for 10 en route to 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Beau Suman, who posted 12 points.

Meanwhile, Glenwood Springs slipped by Summit 50-49 on Thursday.

Glenwood Springs' win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Battle Mountain, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.
