Softball Game Preview: Washburn Beavers vs. Katahdin Cougars

Washburn hasn't had much luck against Katahdin recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Beavers will welcome the Cougars at 4:00 p.m. Washburn has given up an average of 11.3 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Meanwhile, Katahdin strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against Fort Fairfield as they made off with a 25-3 victory. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by six runs or more this season.

Washburn's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Katahdin, their win bumped their record up to 7-0.
