Basketball Game Preview: Washington Warriors vs. Lindsay Leopards

The Washington Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Lindsay Leopards at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Washington knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Lindsay likes a good challenge.

Washington is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering North Rock Creek just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 77-67 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 76th, while the Cougars are ranked 18th).

Meanwhile, Lindsay had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They secured a 50-44 W over the Tigers.

Lindsay's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-5. As for Washington, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-5.

Everything went Washington's way against Lindsay when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as Washington made off with a 70-44 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Washington since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
