Nature Coast Tech and Hernando squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Nature Coast Tech had to settle for second. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Leopards. The Sharks' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Jalena Hathorn paced Nature Coast Tech's offense, picking up 14 kills. Hathorn got some help from Talia Bateman and her 32 assists. Adalei Harmon and Ashley Bretz kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Nature Coast Tech now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Hernando, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-13.

Nature Coast Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hernando, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Weeki Wachee on the 16th.
