Basketball Recap: Woodstock Comes Up Short

Woodstock lost against Sandwich back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Woodstock Blue Streaks were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 47-46 to the Sandwich Indians.

Woodstock's loss dropped their record down to 17-11. As for Sandwich, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Woodstock will welcome Johnsburg at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Sandwich, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Newark at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Newark is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.7 points per game this season.
