Volleyball Recap: Smithville Comes Up Short

Smithville lost against Ingomar two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Seminoles lost 3-0 to the Falcons. The Seminoles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-15, 25-13.

Addie Grace Hughey paced Smithville's offense, picking up five kills. Hughey got some help from Rylee Cantrell and her ten assists.

Smithville now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Ingomar, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 24-4-1.

Smithville has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against West Lowndes on the 25th. Ingomar has also already played their next matchup (against Okolona), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
