Monroeville is a perfect 10-0 against New London since September of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Eagles will host the Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. Monroeville will be looking to extend their current 15-game winning streak.

While Monroeville's victory against St. Paul wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles had just enough and edged out the Flyers 3-2 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted against the Flyers since September 20, 2022.

Monroeville was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-18, 23-25, 25-17, 15-11.

Meanwhile, New London came up short against South Central on Thursday, falling 3-0.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: South Central scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-17, 25-17.

New London's loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 11-9. As for Monroeville, their victory bumped their record up to 17-2.

Monroeville took their win against New London when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
