South Lyon posted their biggest victory since December 6, 2024 on Friday. They blew past the Kettering Captains 65-40. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Lions just coasted through the last quarter.

Several Captains players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Haidyn Bigelow, who posted eight points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Hunter Jager, who scored five points and nine boards.

South Lyon's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-14. As for Kettering, they dropped their record down to 1-15 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.

South Lyon will host Walled Lake Western at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kettering, they will head out to challenge Walled Lake Northern at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
