Soccer Recap: Caldwell Comes Up Short

Caldwell managed to slip by Monroe Central the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Redskins lost 11-0 to the Seminoles on Monday. Caldwell fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Monroe Central since Monday.

Caldwell's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Monroe Central, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Caldwell will take on John Marshall at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Monroe Central, they will face off against Belpre at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Monroe Central will be up against Belpre's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.5 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
