Basketball Recap: King Comes Up Short

King was the 51-38 winner over Norco when they last played one another last Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The King Wolves took a 51-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Norco Cougars.

It was another big night for Ryan Ibbetson, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten boards for Norco. With that strong performance, Ibbetson is now averaging an impressive 8 rebounds per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Julian Arredondo, who posted eight points.

King now has a losing record at 14-15. As for Norco, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-17.

King has already played their next game, a 69-41 victory against Corona on the 29th. As for Norco, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 96-55 loss against Roosevelt on the 29th.
