The Hagerty Huskies will venture away from home to face off against the Boone Braves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both might be coming in a bit winded given how much these teams ran up and down the field in their prior games.

Hagerty is headed out to face Boone after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. Hagerty enjoyed a cozy 31-14 win over Lake Howell on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Huskies as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Porter Williams was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 161 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. His longest rush was for an incredible 74 yards. Jalon Lewis also helped out as he racked up 132 rushing yards.

Hagerty was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 319 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2023.

Hagerty's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB four times. Ryan Davis was especially locked on to Lake Howell's QB and sacked him twice.

Meanwhile, Boone came up short against Mars on Saturday and fell 47-35. While losing is never fun, the Braves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 139th in Florida, while the Fightin' Planets are ranked 29th in Pennsylvania).

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Sam Johnson, who threw for 314 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.6 yards per attempt. A healthy portion of that aerial production (158 yards to be exact) went to Isaiah Mizell.
