Softball Recap: Ball Comes Up Short

Ball was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 4-1 to the Angleton Wildcats, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in March.

Ball's loss dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Angleton, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-2.

Ball has already played their next matchup, a 12-1 win against Bridge City on the 11th. As for Angleton, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against La Porte on the 11th.
