Lynn Camp hasn't had much luck against Harlan recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Wildcats will head out to take on the Green Dragons at 6:00 p.m. Lynn Camp is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

Jeremiah Dixon and Ethan Curry made a splash while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Dixon tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Curry tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. At the plate, Dixon earned two runs and two stolen bases, while Curry went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. Those three hits gave Curry a new career-high.
In other batting news, Dj Wren was a standout: he went a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Darren Campbell, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
Lynn Camp was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .462. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Harlan's offense. They came up short against South Laurel on Monday, falling 8-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Green Dragons were not able to get on the board.
The victory made it two in a row for Lynn Camp and bumps their season record up to 7-13. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Harlan, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-10.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Lynn Camp has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 6.2 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Harlan struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Lynn Camp suffered a grim 18-4 defeat to Harlan in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
