Baseball Recap: Ambridge's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

Ambridge came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the North Catholic Trojans, falling 11-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bridgers have suffered since April 13, 2024.

Evan Francis was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. He also put up a run, which was his first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Ambridge fell to 2-1-1. As for North Catholic, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

While Ambridge had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
