Soccer Recap: Lincolnton Picks Up Fourth Straight Win at Home

It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Lincolnton ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Burns Bulldogs, sneaking past 2-1. The result kept Lincolnton happy, as they haven't lost a game since September 15th.

Diego Abarca and Joel Chavez scored both of Lincolnton's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Lincolnton's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those four matchups. As for Burns, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-2-2.
