Softball Recap: Osawatomie Takes a Loss

Osawatomie managed to slip by Iola the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Trojans came up short against the Mustangs on Tuesday, falling 15-3.

Osawatomie saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaley Shipley, who went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and three runs.

Osawatomie's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Iola, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Osawatomie will welcome Burlington at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Iola, they will challenge Emporia at 4:00 p.m. on May 1.
