Houston Academy is 8-2 against Dale County since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Raiders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. Houston Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.

Houston Academy came up short against Headland on Tuesday, falling 10-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Raiders in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost eight in a row.

Houston Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Greer Collins, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Dale County not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since March 21st. Everything went their way against Geneva as they made off with a 17-10 victory. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won eight matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Dale County and bumps their season record up to 15-10. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Houston Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 10-14.

Houston Academy took their win against Dale County in their previous meeting back in March of 2023 by a conclusive 11-1 score. Do the Raiders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
