Volleyball Recap: Port St. Joe Tiger Sharks vs. Liberty County Bulldogs
After flying high against Rutherford on Tuesday, Port St. Joe came back down to earth. The Tiger Sharks came up short against the Liberty County Bulldogs on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Tiger Sharks haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.
The match finished with set scores of 25-4, 25-8, 25-4.
Allyson Hood was nothing short of spectacular for Liberty County: she had eight digs and four aces. That's the most digs Hood has posted since back in August. The team also got some help courtesy of Emery McCaskill, who had five aces and two assists.
Port St. Joe's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Liberty County, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-4.
Port St. Joe has already played their next matchup (against Marianna), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Liberty County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Arnold on the 29th.
