Soccer Recap: Capital City Falls to Ozark in First Game of Season

Capital City unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Ozark Tigers by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. Capital City were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Ozark apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Looking ahead, Capital City will welcome Springfield Catholic at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Ozark, they are taking a road trip to take on Neosho at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
