Volleyball Recap: Godley Comes Up Short

Godley lost against Springtown back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Porcupines.

Godley took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-14, 25-19.

Springtown was led to victory by Bailey Walker and Kallie Conway. Walker had 11 assists and two aces, while Conway had ten assists and five digs.

Godley's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Springtown, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Godley will be taking part in a tournament against Boyd at 10:30 a.m. on Friday. As for Springtown, they will face off against Azle at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
