Baseball Recap: Parrish Community Bulls vs. Bayshore Bruins
Parrish Community had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They were the clear victor by a 28-3 margin over the Bayshore Bruins on Monday. The Bulls have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bruins, too.
Francesco Giustino looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, Tyler Cripe was incredible, going 4-for-5 with one home run, four runs, and three RBI. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in hits (four). Jonathan Maassen was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
Parrish Community always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .745. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bayshore only posted an OBP of .333.
Coming up, Parrish Community will challenge IMG Academy Gold at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bayshore, they will square off against Southeast at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
