Volleyball Recap: Coldwater Cardinals vs. Northwest Mounties        
        
		
             Coldwater won the last time they faced Northwest, and things went their way  on Saturday too. The Coldwater Cardinals came out on top against the Northwest Mounties by a score of  2-0.
 While Coldwater won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the  first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22,  25-15.
  Marie Powers paced Coldwater's offense, picking up six kills. Powers got some help from 
 Brooklyn Closson and her nine assists. 
 Ellianna Foley and 
 Ava Longstreet kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.
 Coldwater has  been performing  well recently as they've  won nine of their last 11 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 26-10-3 record  this season. As for Northwest,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 11-22-3.
 Coldwater has already played their next match,  a  2-0  win against Hastings on the 26th. As for Northwest, they also  didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  2-0  defeat against Western on the 26th.
