Perham strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Park Rapids Panthers a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Yellowjackets, who have now won six contests by nine runs or more so far this season.

Jayden Schrupp was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run and five RBI. Gavin Griffin was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Perham always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .607. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Perham pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for Park Rapids, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Perham beat the Panthers by a score of 13-1 later that day.
