Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sterling). Everything went their way against the Beaumont United Timberwolves on Friday as the Sterling Rangers made off with a 4-0 win. The Rangers haven't had any issues with the Timberwolves recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Sterling hit Beaumont United with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Josue Castillo (2), Jefferson Rodriguez, and Cristopher Sanchez.

Sterling's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Beaumont United, they dropped their record down to 3-11 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Sterling will venture away from home to challenge Port Neches-Groves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Port Neches-Groves' defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Sterling's offense will have their work cut out for them.
