Basketball Recap: Rangeview Falls Short Against Ranked Redondo Union + How To Watch

Rangeview is ranked highly in their home state and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Redondo Union. The Raiders fell 65-60 to the Sea Hawks. The loss was the Raiders' first of the season.

Rangeview lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Marceles Duncan, who shot 40% from the field en route to 20 points along with eight boards and six assists. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Aidan Perez was another key player, going 5-for-12 on his way to 13 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

Having lost for the first time this season, Rangeview fell to 5-1. As for Redondo Union, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.

Rangeview and Redondo Union will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Raiders see the court they'll take on Grandview at 7:00 p.m. on January 9, 2026.
