Wahpeton extended the longest winning streak in AA East this week by beating Bishop Ryan/Sawyer, 24-17. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
Wahpeton made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,698 from 2,071. The advance stemmed from a 24-17 victory over the Lions last week.
Shanley lost in the closest game of the week to 12-10 St. Mary's Central. In the defeat.
