Baseball Recap: Bradley-Bourbonnais Takes a Loss

Bradley-Bourbonnais and Normal Community squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Bradley-Bourbonnais had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Ironmen by a score of 2-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Boilermakers have suffered against the Ironmen since May 18, 2019.

Bradley-Bourbonnais now has a losing record of 18-19. As for Normal Community, the victory was the 20th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 34-4.

Bradley-Bourbonnais does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Normal Community, they will take on O'Fallon at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Ironmen's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
